Do you like hard work? Would you like to help our program? Every year we travel to Chamelecon to work in our program. We visit our families, deliver food, work on the building, meet with our adminsistrators and teachers and take students on educational trips. We stay in the homes of our friends in Chamelecon. Travel to Central America is challenging and not safe. The weather is always very warm and there are few of the amenities we take for granted in the US. For the right person, however, the trip is a wonderful experience. Do you have what it takes? Explore the resources below to learn more....and contact us for up to date information on how to get involved in our project.
This young man from New Zealand travels the world, challenging himself with dangerous places. Recently he was in San Pedro Sula, and he toured Chamelecon. Not all of his information is entirely correct, and he does resort to the journalist's temptation to sensationalize. But for the most part he has the story.
